‘That’s the trouble with explaining yourself.’
Nashville sextet Zantzinger Chorus make pure music suited for all earthly forms of heartache. Their latest single ‘That’s The Truth’ ticks all the required boxes of the alt-country category – comfortingly familiar chord patterns, tragic and dry lyricism and lush additional instrumentation (especially in the gorgeous orchestral crescendo in the last part of the song). There is plenty to love in this for fans of sweater-wearing reflective acoustic music. A tear-stained high five for Zantzinger Chorus.
