Single: whaticantforget – love sucks

“I wrote this song about a toxic relationship where I felt like I couldn’t address my concerns and it becoming easier to cope in unhealthy ways.”

It’s quite uncommon to come across a review about an artist who has only released their debut single and has just one monthly listener on Spotify. This artist’s music feels incredibly fresh as if it’s untouched by the pressures of mass appeal and fan expectations. Their bedroom lo-fi emo pop style is raw, honest, and refreshingly personal. As a fan of intimate, melancholic music, I really resonate with this particular emo track. There’s something about its simplicity and emotional depth that makes it incredibly moving. I find myself drawn to the rawness and vulnerability in the artist’s sound. It’s as if they’re inviting listeners into their own private world of emotions. I’m eagerly anticipating the artist’s future work and how their music will evolve. I genuinely hope to have the opportunity to listen to their upcoming releases and witness their artistic journey unfold.
