We previously featured this German shoegaze band when we shared their previous single in March. They have now released a new single that was influenced by a horror comic story from William Gaines, as the band mentioned that Enid, their young singer, is an avid comic enthusiast. According to the band, the song explores the experience of being compelled to suppress one’s emotions. Lately, I have been immersing myself in shoegaze music and have consistently appreciated the genre’s evocative energy. This latest single is no exception. The mesmerizing melody tends to transport me, at times causing me to become so engrossed that I forget my surroundings, prompting my wife to call out for my attention. This experience is characteristic of shoegaze music, and it was no different with this particular track. I am thoroughly impressed by this new release from the German band and eagerly anticipate their future work.
