We received the last single from this 3-song EP with the following quote: “Probably my favourite song from our band. It has it all: sad parts, heavy parts, questionable time signature parts.”
I recently stumbled upon an amazing band called Roughly Human from Lithuania. Their music seamlessly blends Midwest emo, post-hardcore, and post-punk, creating an energetic and melodic sound highlighted by exceptional vocals and outstanding guitar riffs. Their unique style immediately captivated me, especially since it’s unusual for me to discover non-US-based emo bands. I’m eagerly anticipating more submissions from European emo bands, as our blog is a fantastic platform for showcasing not only shoegaze and dream pop but also the emo genre. I’m excited to delve deeper into their EP and explore more music from regions that are not typically on my radar.
Meanwhile, I’ll be thoroughly enjoying this remarkable EP, which has quickly become one of my top recent discoveries, particularly considering that we don’t usually receive music from this region. My standout tracks from the EP are the opening and closing ones. They are spectacular emo tracks that I believe will resonate with many emo fans.
