Parallel are a band from California that marry a no-messing shoegaze approach with something a little more artsy and unpredictable, clearly taking some influence from psychedelia and goth pop along the way. ‘Blister’ is their new single, a wonderful attempt at combining dour, down-and-out vocals with euphoric and ethereal guitar parts. It is taken from their upcoming mini album, ‘Flooded’, due out in July via Cherub Dream Records & Play Alone Records.
