Whilst in between fronting other bands Pet Shimmers & Lucky Shivers, Cold Tangerina is the first single from Oro Swimming Hour’s third album out in summer 2020. The epitome of a feel-good, lo-fi pop song, Cold Tangerina passes by like a cool breeze whilst inducing the feeling of a pleasantly sticky summer day. With a DIY ethos recording onto tape machines, it also features vocals from fellow Bristol musicians herbal tea & Sleep Radio.
This song features my favorite herbal tea & Sleep Radio, which have been part of our compilations. Really beautiful lo-fi bedroom pop song. Reminds me a lot of early 2010s Bandcamp times. What a nice memory.
