‘I don’t know if I’ll be found’
Faithful Start Track readers may be familiar with Scottish purveyor of gloompop, Lunar Isles. David Skimming is a singer songwriter based in South Korea who does a wonderful job of combining post punk, bedroom pop, shoegaze and straight up indie rock. He does so with his use of hypnotic drum parts, reverb-kissed spindly guitar lines, woozy synths and crooning vocals that are at times reminiscent of early Morrissey. ‘Adrift’ is his new single, taken from his upcoming record ‘Parasol’ which is due out in June.
