A little introduction to the band and here is an intro to the shared single:
“Places” will be the first single from Livingmore’s 4th full-length album “The Garden”. It is produced by Jeff Schroeder from The Smashing Pumpkins and recorded at East West Studios in Los Angeles, CA. Our friend Emily Retsas, bassist for Phoebe Bridgers, and Boygenius also played bass on the album. The song is about trying to be in the moment. Being still and appreciating the tiny and seemingly insignificant moments that we sometimes take for granted.“
The dreamy, melancholic ballad with some nice bass guitar and fuzzy guitars in general. The song flows so nicely and it feels like a pleasant dream you are not wanting to wake up from. I can close my eyes and just pretend I am flying, dancing around my room. I am glad I am working from home so I can do it while writing this post. Just try it, it works great,
