Single: Don’t Worry – Ever So Clear

The band has established itself in the music scene for a remarkable ten years, and to commemorate this milestone, they have scheduled a series of shows in the coming days. Fans can find the specific dates and places on their Bandcamp page. This new single, which is a preview of their highly anticipated third album set to be released next year, will be available soon. The album is likely to be distributed by the renowned label Specialist Subject Records, known for its support in launching this latest single. Samuel Watson, the band’s songwriter, took a moment to share his thoughts on the inspiration behind this song:

“Ever So Clear is about those moments where you catch a glimpse of your whole self and see it for what it truly is. Ugly bits and all. It came together very quickly during a writing session. The lyrics have mostly stayed the same from the improvised vocals on the demo and I was glad I could finally shoehorn the word ‘schadenfreude’ into a song.”

The punk band hailing from Essex is undoubtedly igniting a fresh wave of inspiration in the realms of indie rock and pop, perfectly complementing the essence of their song. Unbeknownst to me at first, I would instinctively categorize them within the vibrant British music scene, as their track possesses that unique charm and distinctive vibe characteristic of indie rock from the UK. It all kicks off with an incredibly captivating verse that sets the tone for the rest of the experience.

All night I’m drinking alone
I can’t see where this is going
I just need a little time
Stay with me
I just need a little

I thoroughly enjoyed this soothing indie rock ballad, with its gentle melodies and heartfelt lyrics. The music has a way of enveloping you, creating a reflective atmosphere that resonates deeply. I’m genuinely excited about the upcoming album and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to share it with everyone. Until then, I’ll be singing along to the poignant refrain, “I just need a little time,” letting the words linger in my mind as I lose myself in the music.
