‘You’re buzzin’ on again’
dogpatch’s latest single ‘Buzzin’ longs to get away to some place quieter, away from the constant noise. Delightfully jangly guitars bounce, reminiscent of Hayley Heynderickx and Mothers, while the narrator reflects on change and leaving. It is restlessly tense yet comfortingly familiar and segues through shifts in intensity – most strikingly just past the one minute mark. This is arrestingly emotive music that will appeal to fans of the edgier and more daring sides of indie folk.
