Filip’s Quick Single Picks: Marni, Scoobert Doobert, Witches Exist, Skinny Dippers, Where’s Beth

Marni – Fragile

I will be always writing this, but the guitars are always important for me in the song. They usually decide if I like it or not and I can say the guitars in this song are really cool. I have been vibing with them very much. Really great lo-fi rock track that you might definitely enjoy. You can find more music on Spotify.

Scoobert Doobert – 4:20 pm

Not all tracks made by Scoobert Doobert are getting me, but some do and I am very much enjoying them. If mainstream radio would be playing tracks like this one, I would not mind at all. Catchy, fresh, and not boring. If you like this enough, you might enjoy the rest of the tracks on Bandcamp.

Witches Exist – Garden

This reminds me a little bit of my favorite Beach Fossils and their latest albums, maybe it is a stretch but I am enjoying this track quite a lot. Even though it is the first single from this band, it is promising interesting music in the future. You can follow the artist on Spotify.

Skinny Dippers – Past Selves

I like the folk and country vibes in this song. Really catchy melody that can be enjoyed universally. “Drawing from his roots growing up on the coast of Maine, his style spans a broad range of genres by blending guitar-driven indie rock arrangements with analog synthesizers and choral harmonies.” This description sums it up well and I hope you will enjoy this track. You can find more music on Bandcamp.

Where’s Beth – Meat

A little bit of different type of music. Gentle, folky songwriting. No big melodies, catchy guitars, just a voice and simple guitar. I like it a lot, to be honest, and sometimes less is more. The voice is getting under my skin. Looking forward to hearing more music from this artist in the future. You can follow the musician on Spotify.
