j.paul – summerforever.
It’s not summer anymore, but as I said before, for me there is always a good time to listen enjoy summer music. This song is just a catchy, dreamy summer lo-fi song that you can easily fall in love with. Something that can make your every(work)day a little bit better. You can find more music on Bandcamp.
Certain Self – Yellow Beret
“Homespun and intimate, the latest offering from Brooklyn-based bedroom-pop songwriter Certain Self “Yellow Beret” paints a warm picture of falling in love. Centered around Self’s confessional vocals and acoustic guitar, synths, pianos, and pedal steels (provided by fellow songwriter Darryl Rahn) swirl atop driving drums and bass – another signature example of Certain Self’s personal approach to alt-pop production.” …and I am loving everything written above, this song is just beautiful. Right? You can find more music on Bandcamp.
Zack Keim – Alice
What about a catchy indie folk/pop track? Zack’s vocals are getting somehow under my skin and I am really enjoying this song. The rhythm is pretty addictive and you can easily get into it. The guitar parts are so cool as well. The song has really nice energy and I hope it can make your day a little bit better. You can find more music on Spotify.
JOBIE – All For One
A little bit more mellow song in comparison to previous ones. A gentle bedroom pop about love. Simple melody, beautiful vocals, and just really nice atmosphere. I always like going from rhythmic songs to songs like this one so I can just stop, close my eyes and just feel it… Just amazing. You can find more music on Spotify.
beach novels – You Might Enjoy That
It’s so funny, that many bands with “beach” in their name are making music I really enjoy. Beach Fossils, Beach Vacation, Winter Beach, beach novels… I like the hazy guitars, and beachy, dreamy vibes. An interesting fact is that this band is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, not a beach city. Either way, I enjoyed this track and will listen to the full album on Bandcamp.
