EP: tenmonthsummer – fate lines

If I can describe this band the best, it is emo music that also has a little bit of…does anyone remember when folk and indie rock used to blend itself around the early 2010s? The first song “TM36” demonstrates this well with the opening song where the opening verse sounds like that blending a la iLiKETRAiNS before the passionate blast of emo reveals itself during the chorus.

Also, this band knows when to take things to new heights. “Destiny Bond” is a track that takes romance to great heights with spacious synths accompanying lyrics you won’t resist singing along to, such as “I’ll sleep in your grave if you sleep in mine”.

As far as indie rock albums go, Fate Lines isn’t afraid to take it to the sky when it needs to. It’s an album of love songs whose music has to be as gigantic as the love it expresses. If you haven’t heard of them, there’s a high chance that you will make sure anyone else does right after you do.
