I recently had the pleasure of listening to a single from an EP titled crush, which can be found as the third track on the release. I was immediately captivated by its fuzzy warmth, prompting me to explore the rest of the EP. From start to finish, this collection is filled with dreamy, fluffy tracks that completely envelop you in their inviting soundscapes. Each song evokes the essence of summer and on a day like today, when I am wrapped up against the biting cold, listening to this EP feels akin to enjoying a refreshing cold drink on a sweltering summer afternoon.
The music transports me back to cherished memories, helping me navigate through this particularly challenging winter. It’s disheartening that even the snow is absent, and the weight of so much bad news continues to bear down on us. January has undoubtedly been one of the toughest months I have encountered in recent years. Despite this, I find solace in music, which has the remarkable ability to transform my mood.
What has been especially uplifting this month is the overwhelming support from our community for our fundraising efforts. The contributions we’ve received have been heartwarming, while the music itself remains nothing short of stellar. Our writers have been diligently uncovering and sharing some truly exceptional sounds, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this vibrant scene.
Music has always served as my refuge, a reliable escape from the chaos of the outside world. I don’t quite know how it works, but these songs have an incredible way of helping me zone out and fully absorb their essence. Whether your day is going well or is a bit more subdued, whether you find yourself needing to process everything happening around you or just looking for a distraction, it’s always the right time to immerse yourself in fresh, delightful music.
