Another participant from our seasonal compilations at Z Tapes – The Soods from Michigan. Their song was featured on our Summer 2019 compilation. I am very thankful for our compilations because I am not only discovering great music but also making e-friends and small Z Tapes community. Some of the bands featured on our seasonal compilations became even official members of Z Tapes’ roster. The Soods recently released an album I was considering to press onto tapes, but due to lack of capacities, we have decided not to. I hope some other cassette label will do it because it deserves to be heard on cassettes. I like The Soods called this album “basement rock” because it is exactly that.
