Feel free to read my last coverage:
Nathan, also known as Glad Sisifus, is creating some of the most captivating dream pop sounds to emerge from Czechoslovakia. Originally from Slovakia, he is now based in Czechia, which gives his music a unique blend of cultural influences. We’ve been in discussions about releasing his music on cassette for some time now, but we’ve decided to let the project develop and grow a bit more before taking that next step.
I’ve been thoroughly enjoying Nathan’s latest tracks. It’s incredibly exciting to see him embrace the Slovak language and incorporate it into the dream pop genre. His newest song not only showcases his creativity but also ventures into new territory by infusing post-punk elements, predominantly characterized by its dynamic drumming. The rhythms are infectious, adding depth and a fresh twist to his sound that is hard to resist.
It’s clear that Nathan is quickly becoming one of my most beloved artists in our local music scene, and I can’t wait to see what he’ll create next. There’s a palpable sense of anticipation surrounding his work, and I truly believe that one day, we’ll bring all of his music together in a beautiful cassette release. His talent is shining brighter than ever, and I’m excited to follow his journey in the world of dream pop.
