The trio met at the loser table in the school lunchroom. To this day, they are unaware that it was the loser table. After hours of practice in the bonus room of Ryan’s parents’ house, they took their music to friends’ basements, where they play for cold pizza and half smoked cigarettes.“

It’s been some time since I made the decision to expand the musical genres covered on this blog beyond the prevalent dream pop. Fast forward a few months, and we now have a dedicated team of writers exploring a wider range of musical styles while I delve deeper into the contemporary global emo scene. While there are plenty of new bands out there, sometimes they don’t come across my radar. That’s why whenever I receive new emo submissions for our blog, I’m eager to give them a listen. Recently, I’ve been listening to a particular track on repeat while working, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying it. The guitars exude great energy, and the angsty vocals complement the song perfectly. It’s so catchy that it’s been stuck in my head for quite a while now. This is the type of emo music I’m eager to feature more often on our blog. I can’t wait to hear more!
