shn shn is the newest project of ambient electronic pop artist Shanika Maria. When I first listened to “essence”, the second single off of her debut EP “structura”, it heavily reminded me of above water ethereal music from Koda, Pat Moon or even Fever Ray. Its mystical aura embraces an echoing lilt that runs through to some enchanted forest. If I could express it solemnly, I would compare shn shn’s music to a resonance deeply bound into the unknown.
