Cascading guitars and still-calm vocals, Pop by Gillian Frances drifts into this abstract territory where rules appear to be null and voided, entirely nonexistent. The track offers up a minimal notion of sanguinity and exhales a rather gentle quaint of ambient experimental music. Gillian Frances is masterful at pulling off contrasting genres into a wreath of elegant songs and Pop is the perfect example for that.
