EP: Lloyd’s House – We Could Be Friends

Glasgow-based bedroom project Lloyd’s House tackles delicate lyrics supported by lofi pop monomania on their new EP, We Could Be Friends which is out everywhere now via Corkscrew Records. Recorded entirely on a 2005 8-track mixer, the songs on the EP is a personal journey of self-discovery amidst hindering struggles and apprehension— all centering around faintly upbeat motifs and downcast muffled vocals. One way or another, the feeling can be optimistic and melancholic subsequently but never the same time.
